Privacy statement clients

This privacy statement governs the processing of personal data relating to customers who place orders through Didiyo. The controller for the processing of these personal data is Realapps B.V., trading under the name Didiyo (hereinafter “Didiyo”). Didiyo is responsible for the processing of these personal data. Didiyo cares about your privacy. Therefore, we only process data which we need for (improving) our services. We will be careful with the information that we have collected about you and your use of our services. We will never make your details available to third parties for commercial purposes. This privacy statement describes which information about you is collected by us, where this information is used and with whom, and under what conditions this information may be shared with third parties. We also explain how we save your data and what rights you have with respect to the personal data you provide to us.

What data we process, and why

Didiyo processes personal data of you because you use our services. We use the following data for the following purposes:

  1. Ordering process

We process information that you provide by filling it out when you place your order. This data is necessary for the execution of your order, the confirmation of your order, the possibility to assess your order, payment and a possible full or partial refund. The legal basis for this data processing is that it is necessary for the performance of the Agreement as defined in our terms and conditions. This concerns the following data:

  • Name
  • Address details including postal code
  • Contact details
  • Order details
  • Payment details

 

  1. Customer Service

If you contact our customer service, we will use the data you provide for answering your question or resolving your complaint. The legal basis for this processing is that it is necessary for the performance of the Agreement. It concerns the same data as described under 1.

  1. Marketing messages

Moreover, we process data to send you (personalized) marketing messages, such as newsletters and discount offers (e.g. via e-mail or as push messages). The legal basis for this processing is that you gave permission for this when you placed your order. If you wish to change your preferences with regard to receiving these messages, you can unsubscribe via the link in the message concerned.

  1. Cookies

Didiyo uses cookies for functional, analytical and marketing purposes. The functional cookies are necessary for the use of the website. It concerns the following data:

  • Location data
  • IP address or app IDs
  • Internet browser and device type
  • Website language

  1. Fraud prevention

We also process some of the above data to prevent fraud and abuse. The legal basis for this processing is that the processing is necessary because of a legitimate interest of Didiyo, namely the prevention of fraud.

 

How long we keep data

Didiyo will not keep your personal data any longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purpose in question. We will only keep your information longer if we are required to do so by law. Didiyo will delete most of your information within two years of placing your order. We use this period for administrative purposes and so that we can respond to you and to suppliers with questions or complaints about the order. Data used for reporting, analysis and abuse prevention purposes will be retained for 10 years after your order is placed. We cannot remove your data from backups. When we restore a backup we will delete the data at that time.

 

Sharing with Suppliers

Didiyo provides your information (name, address and phone number, order) to your selected Supplier so that the Supplier can deliver your order. You are a direct customer of the Supplier, and the Supplier therefore has its own responsibility and obligations for the processing of your personal data. If you have any questions about how the Supplier handles your data, please contact the Supplier.

 

Sharing with third parties 

Didiyo will not sell your information to third parties. Didiyo will only provide certain information to third parties if it is necessary for the execution of our Agreement with you, for analysis and marketing purposes or to meet legal obligations. Your personal information may be shared with the following parties:

  • Software providers
  • Implementation partners
  • Payment platforms
  • Advertising platforms (e.g. Google and Facebook)

 

Access, correction and deletion of your personal data

You have the right to access, delete or correct any data that we collect about you. If you believe that we are processing your personal data without justification or that we are processing personal data which you believe to be irrelevant, please contact us. Didiyo will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within two months at the latest.

 

Security

Didiyo takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized alteration. If you feel that there has been a misuse of data or a data leak, please contact us at klantenservice@didiyo.com.
